 Action
Living lightly is a prophetic act, which undermines the foundations of materialism. But sometimes we need to go beyond individual actions, and join with others. Who will speak up for those with no voice – for the poor and for threatened wildlife? Who will shake society from its comfortable escapism? Living Lightly is about God’s world, and sometimes God calls us to act locally and globally. Campaigning action is often a prophetic way of showing society where it needs to change.
