A Rocha UK Living Lightly

“You’re closer to God in a garden, than anywhere else on earth.” Well … not always, but humanity’s first job description was to be gardeners. Today many people are rediscovering the joys of getting down and dirty in a garden or allotment. Home-grown food tastes so much better, has travelled less, contains less pesticides, and you appreciate it more. Gardens can be oases of beauty and peace, mini nature-reserves, and productive spaces. Gardening can connect you with your created-ness (‘from dust you were made …’), with your creativity, with the rhythms of creation, and with the Creator … who delights in walking in the garden.
