A Rocha UK Living Lightly

friends107Community

Our culture proclaims freedom and individual independence, but in reality God has made us for community.

We are designed to belong, ultimately to God, but also to each other, to the family of creation, and to the place where God has planted us.

Living Lightly is about spending time building relationships.

As you journey in living more simply, share your joys and struggles openly with neighbours, friends, and family.

Why not:

  • gather a small group (maybe an existing cell-group or home-group) and commit together to living more lightly?
  • learn from others, and share what you’ve learned through this site's forums?
  • get involved in your local community, on issues that matter, and make new friends?
See the list to the right for categorised suggestions relating to Friends, and check the Friends forum (below) for more input and discussion from site members.
