April 2010: Easter celebrations

A friend sent me a text about a conversation she heard her children having as they drove through Tanzania, where they live. The children said to each other, 'Isn't God amazing to make those trees stand up straight, and isn't God amazing to make those hills go up and down'!

This month, which we begin by celebrating the death and resurrection of the Lord of Creation, find an opportunity to go outside and take time to appreciate what God has made, thanking him that

'all the broken and dislocated pieces of the universe—people and things, animals and atoms—get properly fixed and fit together in vibrant harmonies, all because of his death, his blood that poured down from the cross'.

(Col. 1:20 Message translation)
