Repeating Challenge

Keep yourself up-to-date on local issues by reading your local paper regularly.

The Big Ask

Join a local conservation group and get involved. The British Trust for Conservation Volunteers is a useful one to look at, with groups all over the country.

One-hit Wonder

Join a local environmental group such as a local Friends of the Earth or A Rocha group.

The Big Ask

Find out more about your local area. Many places have a local Natural History Society, which is a great way to learn about the ecology of where you live, and which other inhabitants you share your area with.

The Big Ask

Join your local Residents’ or Community Association. Here you will both find out the issues that affect you directly and have an opportunity to do something about them.
